Solutions Architect

About the role

Toptal is expanding its Technology Services practice and is looking for a Solutions Architect to join the Cloud Services team. In this remote role you will be embedded in client engagements from the earliest opportunity‑scoping stage, helping shape technical solutions that drive business value.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in client conversations from the second call onward to conduct deep technical and business discovery.
• Lead the design of scalable, secure, cost‑effective architectures across cloud, AI/ML, data, security and application modernization domains.
• Collaborate with clients to understand challenges, uncover adjacent use cases and expand pipeline value.
• Provide technical leadership to cross‑functional teams, ensuring best‑practice implementation and validation of proposed solutions.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing and delivering cloud‑based solutions for enterprise clients.
• Strong understanding of AI/ML, data engineering, security and modern application architectures.
• Ability to engage with clients, translate business needs into technical designs, and influence decision‑making.
• Comfortable working remotely and collaborating across global teams.
