About the role

Join Cisco's Connected and Engineering Transformation Office (CETO) as a Software Engineer focused on MuleSoft integration. You will help shape Cisco's technology landscape by designing, developing, and optimizing scalable solutions that connect Salesforce, backend systems, and AI/ML capabilities.

Key responsibilities

Design and implement integration solutions using MuleSoft tools (API Manager, Design Center, Runtime Manager, Flex Gateway).
Develop and maintain backend services in Java, Python, Node.js or C# and front‑end components with modern JavaScript frameworks.
Build and expose APIs (REST/GraphQL) and ensure secure authentication (OAuth, JWT).
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to streamline business processes and improve operational efficiency.
Participate in CI/CD pipelines, code reviews, and automated testing.

Required profile

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
3+ years of experience delivering web or cloud‑based enterprise applications.
Proven ability to work in Agile teams and communicate effectively in English.

Required skills

Front‑end: React, Angular, Vue, TypeScript, HTML, CSS.
Back‑end: Java, Python, Node.js, C#.
APIs: REST, GraphQL.
Databases: SQL, NoSQL.
Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP.
Security: OAuth, JWT.
DevOps: CI/CD, Git, Docker, Kubernetes.
MuleSoft: API Manager, Design Center, Runtime Manager, Flex Gateway, DataWeave.
