Software Engineer II

About the role

TreviPay is looking for a Software Engineer II to help build and maintain high‑performing, secure fintech services that power a global B2B payments platform. You will work with modern technologies in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement secure, scalable fintech services for multiple financial products.
• Monitor and maintain high‑availability services critical to fintech operations.
• Write automated unit and integration tests.
• Maintain and improve the production CI/CD pipeline for modern web applications.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, design, and client teams to deliver commitments.
• Coach and empower teammates.
• Contribute to a fun, supportive team culture.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional software development experience or a B.S. in Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a distributed team.
• Proven experience building modern, secure, maintainable, high‑performance software.
• Experience integrating with APIs and external web services.
• Fintech experience is a plus but not required.

Required skills

• Java and SpringBoot frameworks.
• Angular, Vue, TypeScript, Node.js, Nest.js.
• REST API design and Swagger.
• PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, AWS Lambda, AWS Elastic Search.
• AWS (or Heroku) cloud platforms.
• Kubernetes, Docker, GitLab CI/CD.
• Experience with distributed systems and CI/CD pipelines.
