Senior/Mid Full Stack Developer

About the role

Coforge is hiring a Senior/Mid Full Stack Developer in San José, Costa Rica, working in a hybrid setup of 2-3 days per week on site. The role builds scalable applications and internal platforms that give developers a unified, intuitive experience across enterprise tools and services.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build scalable applications and internal platforms with a unified developer experience.
• Develop responsive frontend solutions with React or Angular and secure APIs and microservices mainly in Java.
• Integrate developer experience platforms with DevOps tools such as GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins, Jira, Artifactory and ArgoCD.
• Implement authentication, role-based access, monitoring dashboards and self-service features, working with product owners, platform engineers and end users.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong Java proficiency (mandatory).
• Frontend experience with React or Angular 16.
• Backend experience with Java, Go or Node.js.
• RESTful API design and integration with external systems.
• Docker, Kubernetes and cloud PaaS experience.
• CI/CD and DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Puppet, Terraform, Ansible and Maven.
• Web security, authentication and role-based permissions knowledge.
• Preferred: developer portal experience, observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, OpenTelemetry), API gateways, service meshes, visualization libraries, open-source contributions.
