IT Principal Business Analyst II (Oracle ERP SCM)

About the role

World Fuel Services is looking for an experienced Oracle ERP Functional Lead / IT Business Analyst to drive Supply Chain Management (SCM) initiatives across its global organization. The role acts as the main link between business stakeholders and technology teams, turning business requirements into scalable Oracle ERP solutions. It is a high-visibility position with frequent contact with business leaders, technical teams and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Gather, analyze and document requirements with business stakeholders, acting as the functional subject matter expert for Oracle EBS R12 SCM modules (Order Management, Inventory, Purchasing, Procurement, Cost Management, Shipping Execution, Bill of Materials).
• Lead functional design sessions and produce requirements documentation, process flows and solution specifications.
• Translate business needs into functional requirements for development teams and drive projects from requirements through implementation and post-production support.
• Coordinate testing, including System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Work with internal teams and external managed services partners, identify process improvements, and stay up to date on Oracle ERP and Oracle Fusion best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in business analysis, ERP functional consulting or related roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle EBS R12 and deep functional expertise in the SCM modules listed above.
• Experience gathering business requirements and leading cross-functional initiatives.
• Preferred: Oracle Fusion / Oracle Cloud experience, Oracle EBS techno-functional background, Agile/Scrum experience, offshore or managed service team experience, and Oracle certifications.
