Senior Supplier Quality Engineer

About the role

As a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer you will lead the investigation and resolution of complex quality and compliance issues across our supplier base. You will partner with cross‑functional teams to ensure product quality throughout the entire lifecycle, from design through manufacturing, and help safeguard patient safety worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate and develop corrective action plans for supplier‑related non‑conformances, SCARs, audit findings and productivity issues.
• Own and coordinate Notice of Change (NOC) requests and manage supplier project plans, part qualification and change deliverables.
• Monitor supplier performance, conduct Business Reviews, manage scorecards and develop risk‑mitigation improvement plans.
• Apply Six Sigma and Lean methodologies to optimise manufacturing and R&D processes, including redesign of equipment, tools and fixtures.
• Maintain supplier files, administer the Supplier Management System (SQMS) and support Approved Supplier List activities.
• Partner with Supplier Management to onboard new suppliers, draft Quality Agreements and conduct initial qualification audits.
• Lead supplier quality audits, drive corrective actions and ensure closure of findings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a scientific discipline (Master’s or Ph.D. preferred).
• Minimum 3–4 years of experience in Supplier Quality or Quality Engineering.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to influence decisions across product lifecycles.
• Proven ability to train, coach and guide junior team members.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
• CAD experience.
• Six Sigma and Lean process improvement methods.
• Statistical Process Control (SPC) data analysis.
• Experience with Supplier Management Systems (SQMS) and quality audit execution.
