Senior Supplier Quality Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer to lead supplier development, drive defect prevention, and ensure continuous improvement across our medical‑device supply chain. You will work closely with suppliers, R&D, Supply Chain and Quality Engineering to meet stringent customer and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement best practices with suppliers to reduce variation, waste and defects.
• Conduct supplier audits, manufacturing line assessments and root‑cause investigations.
• Analyze defect trends, perform corrective actions and lead continuous‑improvement projects.
• Manage customer‑specific requirements, technical support and second‑sourcing qualification.
• Monitor supplier performance, generate monthly reports and manage change notifications.
• Maintain approved supplier lists, perform re‑evaluations and ensure compliance with work instructions, control plans and engineering drawings.
• Develop and execute test‑method, software and equipment validations for Release inspections.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent.
• 4‑5 years of experience as a Supplier Quality Engineer in the medical‑device industry.
• Advanced proficiency in English (written and spoken).
• Proven expertise in root‑cause analysis, corrective/preventive action and problem‑solving methodologies.

Required skills

• Six Sigma, 8‑D, CAPA, FMEA, 5 Whys.
• Supplier audit and qualification processes.
• Test‑method, software and equipment validation.
• Process‑improvement tools and data‑analysis techniques.
• Interpretation of engineering drawings and specifications.
