Senior Supervisor, Technical Training

About the role

Edwards Lifesciences is seeking a Senior Supervisor to lead the Technical Training function within its manufacturing operations. You will ensure that trainers, technicians, and trainees are fully prepared to meet production and EHS standards while driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise technical training staff and oversee all training activities, including material management and metric collection.
• Account for learning‑curve and quality metrics, providing regular progress reports to management and cross‑functional teams.
• Develop and schedule screening, work trials, and training sessions aligned with Master Product Schedule and New Product Introduction timelines.
• Analyze production workmanship deficiencies and implement corrective actions within the training program.
• Lead post‑training effectiveness programs, monitor performance, and drive improvement projects with global partners.
• Conduct performance reviews, resolve issues, and coach entry‑level supervisors.
• Prepare training records and reports to ensure audit compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering, industrial, or business discipline.
• More than 5 years of experience leading manufacturing teams and working with cross‑functional groups.
• Strong technical knowledge of manufacturing, quality, and product development processes.
• Experience in the medical‑device industry or related sectors (electronics, pharmaceutical, food).
• Intermediate proficiency in English.
