Senior Supervisor, Manufacturing

About the role

Edwards Lifesciences is seeking a Senior Supervisor to lead manufacturing teams that produce life‑saving medical devices. The role focuses on supervising staff, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring product quality in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise employees and manufacturing activities across multiple production areas, ensuring compliance with specifications and procedures.
• Lead complex improvement projects, partner with engineering on investigations, corrective actions, and non‑conformance reviews.
• Establish work‑order scheduling, monitor output, and adjust plans to meet production targets.
• Accountable for staff productivity, quality metrics, and regular reporting to management and cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Ensure appropriate staffing, training, and documentation of assembly procedures for the assigned product line.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or related field.
• More than 5 years of full‑responsibility supervisory experience in manufacturing, preferably in the medical device industry.
• Strong technical knowledge of assigned work areas and experience with quality and product development engineering.
• Intermediate English proficiency and availability to work in La Lima on Shift A or Shift B.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Working knowledge of an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
• Experience with lean manufacturing tools and project management principles.
• Knowledge of employee‑relations processes and quality systems (CAPA, NCR).
