Senior Specialist Traffic and Logistics

About the role

The Senior Specialist Traffic and Logistics serves as the site’s subject‑matter expert for logistics, transportation, and trade compliance. You will lead end‑to‑end inbound and outbound operations, ensuring the movement of goods is efficient, cost‑effective, and fully compliant with domestic and international regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute transportation strategies for both domestic and cross‑border shipments.
• Manage freight operations, carrier relationships, freight forwarders, and customs brokers.
• Oversee customs compliance and ensure adherence to the Costa Rica Free Trade Zone Regime.
• Drive process standardisation, operational excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain audit readiness and ensure regulatory compliance across all logistics activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Customs Administration, International Commerce or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or trade compliance.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Free Trade Zone regimes.
• High degree of accuracy and strong attention to detail.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
