Senior Solutions Architect – Cloud & AI

About the role
AWS is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to join its Central America team. You will work directly with enterprise customers, guiding them through cloud adoption, migration, modernization, and AI‑enabled innovation.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with enterprise customers to design, build, and implement cloud solutions across adoption, migration, modernization, and new workloads.
- Work hands‑on with customer teams to develop prototypes, proofs of concept, and production‑ready architectures.
- Assess legacy applications and databases, co‑creating practical modernization roadmaps that reduce technical debt.
- Guide customers through secure and efficient cloud migrations.
- Help customers explore how AI, GenAI, and Agentic AI can enhance applications, operations, and experiences.
Required profile
- Proven practitioner with real‑world experience building and shipping cloud solutions.
- Hands‑on technical depth, curiosity, and a bias for action.
- Ability to collaborate with both executive stakeholders and engineering teams.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to diverse perspectives.
Required skills
- Deep knowledge of AWS services and cloud computing.
- Experience with cloud migration and legacy application modernization.
- Understanding of AI, Generative AI (GenAI) and Agentic AI concepts.
- Solution architecture, prototype development, and production‑ready design.
