Senior Software Engineer

About the role

Galileo is seeking a Senior Full‑stack Software Engineer to help build credit and loan systems at scale. You will work on mission‑critical fintech products, delivering new features, fixing bugs, and ensuring high reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Own and drive system design and architecture decisions.
• Lead end‑to‑end design and implementation of AI‑based solutions.
• Write, test, and deploy efficient, scalable code that serves millions of users.
• Generate ideas for process improvement, new technologies, and initiatives.
• Collaborate with product and design teams on new features and enhancements.
• Monitor, support, and continuously improve mission‑critical services.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience with Python and JavaScript (React and Node).
• Experience in AI/ML roles is a plus.
• Hands‑on experience with Continuous Delivery, unit testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong expertise with cloud and data‑store technologies (AWS, Azure, MongoDB) in a microservice architecture.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Fintech or banking experience is desirable.
