Senior Software Developer, AI

About the role

West Monroe is looking for a Senior Software Developer to join its AI Team within the Shared Services organization. You will collaborate with internal AI, IT, and consulting teams to translate business needs into AI‑enabled software solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full‑stack applications using an Agile, iterative approach.
• Work with core back‑end technologies (Node.js, Python.NET) and front‑end frameworks (React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3).
• Implement data storage solutions with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and SQL Server.
• Leverage cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure, AWS) and generative AI services (Azure OpenAI, Databricks ML).
• Apply architectural patterns such as MVC, MVVM, SOA, and REST.
• Utilize source control (Git, Azure DevOps) and DevOps tooling (Terraform, Docker, NPM, NuGet, Jest).

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of full‑stack software development experience.
• Strong knowledge of AI concepts and practical development experience.
• Solid understanding of object‑oriented programming, algorithms, data structures, and design patterns.
• Proven ability to work in fast‑paced, collaborative Agile/Scrum environments.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
