Senior Security Analyst - AI & Application Security

About the role

Software Mind is looking for a Senior Security Analyst specialized in AI and application security. You will monitor network and system activity, detect threats, and guide the security posture of our cloud and SaaS environments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead application security testing (SAST, DAST, SCA) throughout the SDLC.
• Coordinate third‑party penetration tests for web apps, APIs, and cloud infrastructure and track remediation.
• Use Qualys for vulnerability scanning, asset discovery and remediation prioritisation.
• Implement and manage a central vulnerability management platform (e.g., DefectDojo).
• Integrate security testing tools into CI/CD pipelines, including pipeline hardening and secrets detection.
• Conduct security architecture reviews for new features and third‑party components.
• Operate and optimise CrowdStrike Next‑Gen SIEM for detection, triage and incident response.
• Leverage Rapid7 for vulnerability management and risk reporting, correlating data with CrowdStrike telemetry.

Required profile

• Proven experience in application security, cloud security (AWS and/or Azure) and security operations.
• Hands‑on expertise with CrowdStrike Falcon, Qualys, Rapid7 and CI/CD pipeline hardening.
• Familiarity with NIST CSF 2.0 and AI governance frameworks (ISO/IEC 42001, NIST AI RMF).
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
