Senior SAP Financial Consultant (CFO & EV, Global Network)

About the role

As part of the CFO&EV team within Accenture Strategy & Consulting, you will support CFOs and finance organizations in crafting and implementing strategies based on digital disruption, new-age operating models and best-in-class practices. You will lead the design, configuration, implementation and optimization of SAP Finance solutions (SAP FI/CO and SAP S/4HANA Finance) and act as the bridge between business and technology.

Key responsibilities

• Functional leadership: run requirement-gathering workshops, conduct fit-gap analyses, recommend SAP best practices and standards, and engage business stakeholders independently
• Design and implementation: configure, test, convert and deploy, prepare RICEFW specifications, and support end-to-end implementations including blueprint, realization, testing, Go-Live and hypercare
• Project delivery: support SIT, UAT, defect resolution, cutover and hypercare, and oversee deliverables, documentation and schedule adherence
• Mentor junior consultants, review configurations and documentation, and transfer knowledge to clients and the internal team

Required profile

• 6+ years of SAP Finance consulting experience, including at least one full SAP S/4HANA implementation and three full-cycle implementations
• Experience in SAP S/4HANA projects (implementation, rollout or ECC conversion) and mastery of SAP Activate
• Global or multinational experience, client-facing consulting and independent work
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, information systems or a related engineering field
• Advanced English (verbal and written); Spanish native or advanced is desired
• Willingness to travel to client sites, mostly in the USA, for short or long terms

Required skills

• In-depth knowledge of at least two of: SAP FI (Universal Journal/GL, AP, AR, AA, BL, BAM, period-end close), SAP CO (CCA, PCA, Internal Orders, CO-PA, period-end close), FSCM (CLM, TRM, BCM, MBC, CR, COL, DM, IHC)
• Effective storytelling in PowerPoint and oral presentation in English
• SAP Certified Application Professional (Finance / Activate PMO) or Agile certification is desired
