Senior Prototyping Engineer – PACE LATAM

About the role

Amazon Web Services is looking for a senior‑level Prototyping Engineer to support its Prototyping and AI Customer Engineering (PACE) team across Latin America. The role combines rapid‑prototype development with AI‑enabled, agile delivery to help customers turn strategic visions into tangible MVPs.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, develop, test and deploy loosely coupled, distributed software solutions for AWS customers.
• Research and apply the latest AI, GenAI and cloud technologies in customer engagements.
• Align customer requirements with AWS service roadmaps and drive platform adoption.
• Produce customer‑facing technical content such as white‑papers, tutorials and blog posts.
• Travel to customer sites (up to 25 % of the time) to support prototype implementation.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering complex software prototypes in an agile, cloud‑first environment.
• Strong ability to translate business goals into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and internal AWS teams.
