Senior Production Supervisor – Medical Device Manufacturing

About the role

The Senior Production Supervisor leads a team of production workers or a production unit, ensuring product quality, high yield, and on‑time deliveries in a medical‑device environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead Environmental, Health & Safety, Quality, and GMP compliance initiatives, maintaining a safe work environment and driving corrective actions.
• Direct production planning and execution by scheduling activities, prioritising orders, balancing staffing, managing WIP inventories and preventing line‑downs.
• Drive operational excellence through ownership of productivity, efficiency, quality and cost KPIs, implementing Lean, Kaizen, NPI and other continuous‑improvement projects.
• Develop manufacturing teams by coaching supervisors, establishing performance metrics, conducting reviews and ensuring clean‑room standards.
• Collaborate across functions and with customers to coordinate operations, communicate updates, address needs and improve satisfaction.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 + years experience in operations, engineering or supervisory roles, preferably in medical‑device manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of production and inventory management, quality systems and regulatory standards (ISO 13485, NCR, CAPA).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, solid problem‑solving abilities and continuous‑improvement experience (Yellow or Green Belt).
• Intermediate bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
