Production Supervisor

About the role

The Production Supervisor leads a team of production associates to meet safety, quality, delivery, cost and continuous‑improvement goals. The role requires hands‑on knowledge of machines, tooling and processes, and strong people leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and supervise a production team to achieve safety, quality, delivery, cost and ROCK (Remove, Organize, Clean, Keep) metrics.
• Ensure compliance with EHS and quality regulations, enforce PPE and LOTO procedures.
• Provide training, certify associates, and conduct regular 1:1 and team meetings.
• Monitor product quality, initiate improvements, and contain quality issues.
• Coordinate order scheduling, material availability, and machine/people capacity.
• Control overtime, drive scrap reduction and productivity gains, and manage cost performance.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of production or supervisory experience.
• Strong data‑analysis mindset and detail‑oriented problem‑solving skills.
• People‑management and leadership abilities, with good written and verbal English communication.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb and stand/sit for extended periods.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access).
• Data analysis and reporting.
• Lean manufacturing concepts; Six Sigma knowledge is a plus.
