Senior Production Supervisor – Machine Shop

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Production Supervisor to lead our machine‑shop operations, coordinating the production and construction of fixtures, supporting new product introductions and driving process improvements within a medical‑device environment.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with all ArthroCare departments to ensure smooth information flow across the organization.
• Maintain a positive work environment that motivates the production team.
• Apply company, safety, quality and US FDA Quality System requirements to daily activities.
• Identify and assess risks in the production area and recommend corrective actions.
• Oversee documentation, validations (IQ, OQ, PQ) and GMP compliance for manufacturing processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s (or Licentiate) degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Materials Engineering, or at least 9 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum 5 years in precision mechanics, conventional and CNC manufacturing.
• At least 4 years managing personnel and leading validation projects in the medical‑device sector.
• Proven experience with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, OEE and capacity‑model development.
• Fluent in English and Spanish (advanced oral and written).
