Senior Production Supervisor

About the role

Viant Medical is looking for a Senior Production Supervisor to lead manufacturing operations at its Heredia site in the Zona Franca Metropolitana. The role oversees molding and assembly lines, ensuring strict adherence to SOPs and GMPs while driving productivity, safety, and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure all SOPs and GMPs are followed according to Viant Medical quality standards.
• Monitor production lines for task achievement, scrap, and variation; record progress and raise issues.
• Lead training of new production employees and prioritize work in the clean‑room environment.
• Support engineering on new product development and launch activities.
• Act as point of contact during audits, customer visits, and safety inspections.
• Conduct production meetings, communicate KPIs, risks, and priorities across shifts.
• Manage overtime scheduling, shift payroll reporting, and personnel conflicts in collaboration with HR.
• Maintain workflow by balancing staffing, monitoring equipment, and implementing corrective actions.
• Prepare performance appraisals and ensure a safe, well‑equipped work environment.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising manufacturing teams in molding or assembly environments.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, SOPs, and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to lead continuous‑improvement projects and manage cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent communication skills for interfacing with engineering, HR, and senior management.
• Hands‑on experience with clean‑room operations and production scheduling.
