Senior Networking Engineer

About the role

West Monroe is seeking a Senior IT Engineer, Network & Infrastructure to lead the design, operation, and evolution of its enterprise network. The role combines deep networking expertise with a collaborative mindset to ensure secure, reliable connectivity across offices, cloud platforms, and remote users.

Key responsibilities

• Own the enterprise network environment, focusing on Cisco and Meraki technologies (LAN, WAN, wireless, VPN, routing, switching, firewalls, cloud connectivity).
• Design, implement, and continuously improve network architecture for office, cloud, and remote‑user environments.
• Administer and optimize the Meraki Dashboard, handling configuration, firmware, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
• Monitor network health, performance, and capacity; proactively identify and resolve issues.
• Troubleshoot complex incidents in partnership with IT operations, security, service desk, vendors, and business stakeholders.
• Support secure connectivity for employees, applications, cloud services, and third‑party platforms.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to align network design with security standards, including segmentation, firewall policies, Zero Trust principles, and vulnerability remediation.

Required profile

• Hands‑on network engineer with extensive experience designing, operating, and securing enterprise networks.
• Comfortable owning core networking responsibilities while adapting to evolving technology landscapes.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work across IT, security, and business teams.
• Senior‑level expertise with a focus on operational maturity and automation.
