Senior IT Support Engineer – GCC Costa Rica

About the role

TransUnion is seeking a Senior IT Support Engineer to join its Global Support team in Costa Rica. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality technical assistance to GCC Costa Rica employees, ensuring smooth operation of corporate and business systems.

Key responsibilities

• Provide onsite and remote support for corporate systems such as Office, Workday, and AWS Workspaces.
• Set up equipment, manage inventory, and handle onboarding/off‑boarding activities.
• Diagnose, repair, maintain, and upgrade laptops, desktops, and mobile devices (Windows, macOS, AWS).
• Document user requests, update trouble tickets, and communicate status to non‑IT stakeholders.
• Develop and deploy solutions for hardware/software issues and handle escalations.
• Test new hardware/software, coordinate with specialist teams, and create support documentation.

Required profile

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Willingness to work after hours or weekends when needed.
• Excellent communication and writing skills in English and Spanish.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with strong problem‑solving and service‑first mindset.
• Highly organized, flexible, and able to meet tight deadlines under pressure.
