Senior IT Finance and Compliance Manager

About the role

The Senior IT Finance and Compliance Manager acts as a strategic financial advisor for Duracell’s IT department, overseeing the full financial planning, analysis, and compliance landscape for a $70M budget. The role partners closely with the CIO, CFO, IT leadership, and corporate finance teams to align financial plans with technology initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the IT operating and project budget, coordinating with CIO, IT PMO, and sector finance teams.
• Maintain 3‑5 year strategic financial plans, quarterly forecasts, and real‑time “what‑if” scenarios.
• Lead capital authority for expenditure (AFE) business cases for IT projects ($5‑10M per year) and ensure compliance with US GAAP capitalization guidelines.
• Manage headcount and compensation planning across nine countries in collaboration with HR.
• Design and maintain cost allocation models for operating expenses and project charges.
• Oversee IT compliance, internal controls, audit responses, and policy adherence, including segregation of duties and change management.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in IT financial planning and analysis, preferably within a large technology or manufacturing environment.
• Deep knowledge of IT vendor landscapes, transformation initiatives, and internal control frameworks.
• Proven ability to collaborate with senior executives and influence financial decisions.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP, especially ASC 350‑40 for internal‑use software.
