Ancillary Project Accountant

About the role

As a Project Accountant at BCD Meetings & Events, you will support Life Sciences meetings and congresses in a highly regulated environment. You will ensure accurate reconciliations, billing, and reporting across multiple programs while collaborating with planning teams, suppliers, and account teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage reconciliations, billing, and accounting tasks with strong accuracy in a fast‑paced, deadline‑focused environment.
• Work across multiple currencies, keeping financial records organized, timely, and compliant.
• Partner with Meeting Managers, Coordinators, and suppliers to resolve participant, budget, and expense issues.
• Use Excel and other Microsoft Office tools to track, review, and report financial details with high precision.
• Support Life Sciences programs with documentation and reporting requirements such as Transfer of Value tracking.

Required profile

• College degree in accounting or a related field.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical or broader Life Sciences industry.
• Familiarity with Cvent and congress‑related reconciliation processes.
• Knowledge of travel industry operations and supplier payment workflows.
• Experience preparing year‑end accruals and VAT reclaim documentation.
