Senior Information Security Analyst

About the role

Experian is looking for a Senior Information Security Analyst to safeguard its information assets and ensure compliance with industry standards. The role covers data-access governance, security reporting and data-protection monitoring across Amazon Web Services environments, and reports to the Director of Information Security.

Key responsibilities

• Manage security posture and vulnerability reporting using Panaseer and Checkmarx
• Review data access, extracts, elevated access requests and quarterly access reviews
• Conduct PII and sensitive-data scans and support remediation with Data Engineering
• Monitor brand misuse and coordinate remediation and takedowns
• Support data classification, handling and privacy programs
• Use Tines, Python and approved AI tools to automate security processes
• Partner with Engineering, Data Governance, Privacy and InfoSec teams
• Support SOC 2, audits and related evidence requests
• Identify opportunities to improve security reviews, reporting and processes

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 5-7 years in information security, data governance or IT compliance, including hands-on access management, data-loss prevention and AWS-hosted environments
• Familiarity with cloud security and lightweight automation tools such as Tines or Python
• Comfortable using AI assistants (e.g. Claude or Copilot) for drafting, summarizing and assessment; interest in building AI-assisted workflows is valued
