Senior Fullstack Software Engineer (JavaScript, TypeScript)

About the role

Software Mind is looking for a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer to work on a client's project in San José. You will help design, build and modernize the applications and technology solutions the client relies on, taking ownership of features end-to-end. The role sits in a fast-paced consulting environment where you work with cross-functional teams and interact closely with clients.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and maintain full-stack applications using TypeScript/JavaScript, React and Node.js.
• Build and integrate secure, well-documented APIs, including integrations with client business systems and third-party services.
• Deploy, monitor and support applications on Microsoft Azure, and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Partner with project managers, business analysts, engineers and client stakeholders to turn requirements into production-ready solutions.
• Write clean, well-tested code, take part in code reviews and collaborate with other engineers.

Required profile

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience, including 4+ years of full-stack JavaScript/TypeScript development.
• Ability to interface directly with clients and to manage multiple projects and tasks at once.
• Nice to have: Microsoft Azure certification (e.g. AZ-204), exposure to Microsoft Fabric, Power BI or ERP/CRM integrations, experience building AI-enabled features, and prior consulting or professional services experience.

Required skills

• Front-end frameworks such as React, Next.js, Angular or Vue.js.
• Node.js and hands-on experience deploying on Microsoft Azure (App Service, Functions, Azure SQL).
• CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Solid SQL and relational database experience.
• API design, authentication/authorization and web application security.
