Senior Fullstack Engineer (React/Next.js + Java)

About the role

ImagineX Studio is a product‑focused software development company that partners with clients from ideation to launch. We are looking for a Senior Fullstack Engineer to join our distributed team remotely from Costa Rica or El Salvador. You will own the core frontend built with Next.js and contribute to backend services using Java.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high‑performance React/Next.js front‑end components.
• Build and enhance Java‑based backend services, primarily with Spring and micro‑service architecture.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Participate in agile ceremonies, CI/CD pipelines, and release processes.
• Write reusable, well‑tested code and libraries for future use.
• Assist non‑technical team members in troubleshooting production issues.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional experience with React, Next.js and TypeScript.
• 5+ years of experience developing Java applications (Java 17+).
• Strong communication skills and ability to identify and raise technical roadblocks.
• Experience working in an agile, remote environment.
