Senior Fullstack Engineer

About the role

Live Nation’s Ticketmaster platform is looking for a Senior Fullstack Engineer to own and evolve major components of its web experience. You will work with Next.js, React, and a suite of serverless AWS services while leveraging AI‑assisted development tools.

Key responsibilities

• Own major components from the React front‑end through serverless back‑end services.
• Design for scale, handling traffic spikes with caching, rendering strategies, and cost‑aware scaling.
• Shape reusable APIs, data schemas, and component boundaries.
• Lead code reviews, champion testing and observability, and retire technical debt.
• Take features to production, managing CI/CD, infrastructure as code, monitoring, alerting, and on‑call duties.
• Apply AI coding tools to accelerate implementation, refactoring, testing, and documentation while ensuring quality.
• Collaborate with product, design, and adjacent engineering teams, adapting communication as needed.

Required profile

• 5+ years building and operating production web applications with end‑to‑end ownership.
• Deep expertise in React and TypeScript, including component architecture, state management, performance, and accessibility.
• Production experience with Next.js (App Router, server components, SSR/SSG/ISR, caching, edge rendering).
• Strong background in AWS serverless services: Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, CloudFront, EventBridge, Step Functions, SQS/SNS.
• Hands‑on GraphQL experience: schema design, resolvers, BFF patterns, and performance considerations.
• Infrastructure‑as‑code practice using AWS CDK, SAM, Serverless Framework, or Terraform, and ownership of CI/CD pipelines.
• Practical use of AI code generation tools (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor) with solid judgment.
• Fundamentals in testing, observability, secure coding, and debugging distributed systems.
