About the role
The client builds AI‑powered intelligence and document‑analysis products for commercial and U.S. government customers. Engineering runs a lean, AWS‑first platform (Kubernetes/EKS, Terraform, GitHub Actions) with a smaller Azure footprint. The security function works hand‑in‑hand with a small DevOps team and is supported by strong internal automation.
Key responsibilities
- Own day‑to‑day cloud security operations.
- Support compliance programs and act as the security point of contact.
Required profile
- Hands‑on AWS security experience (IAM, least‑privilege design, GuardDuty, Security Hub, CloudTrail).
- Experience with Terraform and reviewing changes via pull requests.
- Kubernetes security fundamentals (RBAC, workload hardening).
- Vulnerability management, including scanning, prioritization and remediation coordination.
- Experience supporting SOC 2 audits and providing control evidence.
- Awareness of CI/CD and supply‑chain security (GitHub Actions, dependency/image scanning).
