Senior Full Stack Engineer (React, FastAPI, C#)

About the role

AmpsTek, a global technology staffing and staffing solutions provider founded in 2013, is hiring a Senior Full Stack Engineer for a hybrid position in San Jose, Costa Rica. The role suits experienced software engineers with strong front-end expertise who want to build modern web applications and APIs, with a focus on scalable software, modern UI frameworks, cloud-native development and Agile delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enhance responsive web applications using React, TypeScript and modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Design and implement Single Page Applications (SPA) and Micro Frontend (MFE) architectures.
• Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using FastAPI, Python and C#.
• Work with Product Owners and Scrum teams to deliver user stories, epics and backlog items, taking part in Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Reviews and Retrospectives.
• Build scalable, secure and maintainable software, contribute to CI/CD and DevOps best practices, and create technical documentation.
• Work with QA engineers to ensure product quality and support innovation initiatives, including AI-enabled development where applicable.
