About the role
The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a Senior Finance Associate (G7) to support its financial operations in San Jose, Costa Rica. The role reports to the Head Resources Management Officer and works under the overall supervision of the Chief of Mission. It is a short‑term assignment initially lasting three months, with the possibility of extension depending on funding.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or a related field with at least five years of relevant professional experience (or a high‑school diploma with seven years of experience).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); experience with Oracle is a distinct advantage.
- Fluency in English and Spanish, both oral and written.
- Previous experience in international humanitarian, non‑governmental or governmental organizations operating in multicultural settings is preferred.
