About the role

GitLab is seeking a Senior Executive Business Partner to support its Chief Information Officer. The role provides high‑trust, proactive assistance that keeps the CIO focused on strategic priorities while ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the CIO’s calendar, travel, meeting logistics, and follow‑up actions.
• Coordinate cross‑functional initiatives, leadership cadences, and reporting processes.
• Anticipate needs, surface recommendations, and create conditions for effective decision‑making.
• Support recruiting, onboarding, and other operational activities for the Office of the CIO.
• Maintain clear documentation and communication across tools and stakeholders.

Required profile

• Strong judgment and comfort working in ambiguous, fast‑moving environments.
• Highly proactive, organized, and calm under pressure.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to build authentic partnerships with senior leaders.
