Senior Director, Finance Operations Optimization Lead

About the role

The Senior Director – Finance Ops Optimization Lead drives continuous operational excellence, standardization, and transformation across global finance functions such as Record‑to‑Report, Payroll, Procure‑to‑Pay, and Order‑to‑Cash. Reporting to the Vice President for Finance Operations, the role partners with internal units, functional hubs, third‑party vendors, and contractors to build a transparent, scalable service delivery model.

Key responsibilities

• Lead an Agile team of Optimization associates to support Finance Operations leadership.
• Maintain and regularly update a detailed service catalogue (L1‑L4 taxonomy) across all finance functions.
• Define and enforce global standard processes using a scoring methodology and value‑stream mapping.
• Champion best‑in‑class practices to ensure consistency, compliance, and operational excellence worldwide.
• Oversee Standard Practices & Procedures, Risk Control Matrix, and Business Continuity Plan.
• Track audit points and Management Action Plans, driving timely resolution and policy simplification.
• Manage operational team oversight, including headcount and location visibility.

Required profile

• Senior leader with extensive experience in finance operations and process optimization.
• Proven ability to lead large, cross‑functional Agile teams.
• Strong strategic foresight combined with operational rigor.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills across internal and external partners.
