Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead the design, implementation and security of our AWS‑based cloud infrastructure. You will work closely with information security, engineering and third‑party partners to ensure robust, automated, and compliant environments for our eCommerce platform.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and manage internal endpoints, VPC firewalls and AWS Security Groups across multiple environments.
• Administer Role‑Based Access Control (RBAC) and Identity Access Management (IAM) policies, including Service Control Policies (SCPs) for infrastructure guardrails.
• Maintain an AMI factory for automated image creation, validation and serverless deployments.
• Operate network traffic components such as NACLs, Transit Gateways, Direct Connect, and peer connections.
• Assess infrastructure and application vulnerabilities, drive remediation and manage Linux and container vulnerability patches.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines supporting continuous delivery, canary and blue‑green releases, and integrate SDLC security tools.
• Enable system monitoring and logging using AWS native services and third‑party security tools.
• Lead security‑focused projects from inception to production and act as the technical point of contact.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent experience.
• Relevant AWS security certification (e.g., AWS Certified Security – Specialty) or comparable expertise.
• Proven senior‑level experience in DevOps, cloud security and infrastructure automation.
