Senior DevOps Engineer – Azure Cloud (LATAM)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with deep expertise in Azure Cloud to lead the design, automation and optimisation of cloud environments for a large enterprise client. The role is remote, serving teams across Costa Rica, Colombia and Mexico and is part of a trusted technology consultancy delivering long‑term digital transformation projects.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines for CI/CD automation.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code using ARM templates, Terraform, Bicep and JSON.
• Automate provisioning and configuration with PowerShell and Azure Automation.
• Manage Azure environments to ensure scalability, security and performance.
• Support containerisation and orchestration with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Docker.
• Implement GitHub Actions for additional workflow automation.
• Collaborate with developers, cloud architects and enterprise IT stakeholders to align DevOps practices with business goals.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and continuously optimise cloud infrastructure and pipelines.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering enterprise‑level cloud transformation projects.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills in an enterprise environment.

Required skills

• Azure Cloud and Azure DevOps (Repos, Pipelines, Artifacts).
• Infrastructure as Code: ARM templates, Terraform, Bicep.
• Scripting with PowerShell and JSON.
• CI/CD pipeline design and release management.
• GitHub Actions (preferred).
• Container technologies: AKS, Docker, Kubernetes.
