Senior Data Science Engineer – Revenue Intelligence

About the role

Veeam is looking for a Senior Data Science Engineer to join its Revenue Intelligence team. You will design and deliver scalable AI and machine‑learning solutions that turn data into actionable business insights.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy production‑ready ML pipelines, from feature engineering to monitoring.
• Build AI‑powered applications using frameworks such as Streamlit and integrate Large Language Models into business workflows.
• Create and maintain Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions, knowledge bases, and AI agents that work with both structured and unstructured enterprise data.
• Perform quantitative and qualitative analyses to identify trends and support strategic decisions.
• Collaborate with data engineers, software engineers, analysts, and product teams on cross‑functional initiatives.
• Improve existing data‑science processes, automate repetitive tasks, and promote engineering best practices.
• Document technical solutions and share knowledge across the organization.

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional experience in data science, machine learning, AI engineering, or a related field.
• Strong programming skills in Python and SQL.
• Hands‑on experience designing, deploying, and maintaining scalable ML solutions, including MLOps practices.
• Experience with Large Language Models, prompt engineering, Retrieval‑Augmented Generation, or similar AI frameworks.
