Senior Controllership Associate – LATAM

About the role

JLL is seeking a Senior Controllership Associate to support financial operations across its LATAM entities. You will combine technical accounting expertise with business partnership to ensure the integrity of financial statements and compliance with US GAAP and local standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead month‑end close activities for assigned LATAM entities, ensuring compliance with US GAAP, local accounting standards, and internal policies.
• Execute comprehensive balance‑sheet reconciliation processes, investigate variances, and resolve reconciling items.
• Manage multi‑currency accounting, including foreign‑exchange impact analysis, currency translations and revaluations.
• Prepare P&L and balance‑sheet variance analyses, highlighting performance drivers for finance and business leadership.
• Coordinate internal and external audit activities, prepare work papers, and respond to auditor inquiries.
• Partner with Tax, Treasury, Global Technical Accounting and other groups to ensure accurate reporting.
• Identify and drive process‑improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and automation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of progressive accounting experience in corporate, multinational or public‑accounting environments.
• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and ability to apply it in a multi‑currency context.
