Senior Communications & Engagement Lead – Costa Rica

About the role

Citi is seeking a senior professional to lead communications, culture and site‑engagement initiatives for its Costa Rica location. Reporting to the LATAM Network Lead, you will translate leadership priorities into clear, consistent messaging and drive employee‑engagement programs across the site.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a site‑wide communication strategy aligned with corporate priorities.
• Create executive‑level presentations, town‑hall materials and other communications for senior leadership forums.
• Transform performance data and operational insights into compelling narratives for strategic decision‑making.
• Coordinate site initiatives, track actions, ownership and timelines to ensure disciplined follow‑through.
• Partner with HR and Business Office teams to advance culture, engagement and recognition programs.
• Monitor market and country dynamics, surfacing insights that shape the site narrative.
• Represent the Costa Rica site in external engagements and support community‑responsibility initiatives.
• Develop monthly communication metrics and provide data‑driven recommendations to senior leadership.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in communications, business management or strategic coordination.
• Proven ability to operate at a senior level in a matrixed, multi‑audience environment.
• Strong relationship‑building skills with senior stakeholders, influencing without direct authority.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Experience using AI tools for content creation and data analysis.
