Freelance Social Media Manager & Content Creator

About the role

Tico Lingo, a Spanish immersion school, seeks a creative freelance professional to manage its social media presence, produce video content, and handle email newsletters, showcasing the school’s cultural activities to an online audience.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and regularly update Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok accounts.
• Plan a content calendar and create engaging videos, photos, captions, and stories.
• Film student interviews, classes, dance, yoga, tours, and other cultural events.
• Handle video production from filming and sound recording through editing and final delivery.
• Create and send regular email newsletters.
• Track content performance and help shape marketing strategy.

Required profile

• Experience managing social media accounts and campaigns for small businesses.
• Strong videography skills, including editing and sound recording.
• Confidence communicating in both Spanish and English (minimum B2 English).
• Experience creating email newsletters and managing deadlines independently.
• Interest in language learning, cultural immersion, and international exchange.
