Senior Clinical Imaging Specialist (Remote – Costa Rica)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Clinical Imaging Specialist to support the Transcatheter Mitral & Tricuspid Therapies (TMTT) US commercial team. Based remotely in Costa Rica, you will work with the case‑planning group to analyse multi‑modality imaging and help achieve optimal procedural outcomes for the EVOQUE Transcatheter Tricuspid Valve Replacement Therapy.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse 3‑D CT reconstructions and determine anatomical suitability for TMTT device implantation.
• Produce comprehensive imaging reports for case‑planning purposes.
• Perform advanced CT reconstructions beyond the field team’s routine capabilities.
• Track case‑planning data across multiple technical platforms in partnership with analysts, sales, IT and external stakeholders.
• Train field teams and healthcare providers on CT acquisition, interpretation and case‑planning strategy.
• Enter measurement data into the CRM system and identify process improvement opportunities.
• Design training content related to image analysis and support quality‑assurance activities.
• Participate in knowledge‑transfer sessions to review challenging cases.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in a related field, or equivalent experience per Edwards criteria.
• Minimum five years of in‑hospital clinical echocardiography or cardiac sonography experience.
• Certification in a relevant imaging modality (e.g., WINFOCUS, ARDMS, CCI).
• Fluent English (spoken and written).
• Willingness to travel up to 15 % within the United States.

Required skills

• 3‑D Computed Tomography reconstruction and analysis.
• Proficiency with imaging analysis software such as TomTec, Xcelera, 3Mensio, Vitrea, Circle VI.
• Advanced Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience using CRM software for data entry and tracking.
