Principal Engineer

About the role

Join the Global Operations & Quality team to improve manufacturing processes for cardiovascular medical devices. You will work cross‑functionally with manufacturing, operations and sales to deliver solutions that impact patient care worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Lead identification and implementation of process optimization opportunities using Six Sigma and Lean methods.
• Design, develop and execute complex experiments and validation protocols for manufacturing processes.
• Train, coach and guide engineers and technicians on advanced procedures and provide feedback.
• Oversee manufacturing support tasks, coordinate project plans and ensure deliverables meet customer expectations.
• Analyze and resolve complex manufacturing and compliance issues such as CAPA, non‑conformances and audit observations.
• Create training and documentation materials, including work instructions, to enable knowledge transfer.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a scientific field with at least 6 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with at least 5 years of experience.
• Strong documentation, communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate technical information across the organization.
• Extensive knowledge of engineering principles, problem‑solving, analytical and critical thinking.
• Leadership ability to influence change and manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Six Sigma and Lean methodology expertise.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
• CAD experience (preferred).
• Ability to develop and execute validation protocols and analyze results.
