Senior Backend Developer – Go / Platform (Remote)

About the role

Coforge is looking for a Senior Backend Developer specialized in Go to design and operate a high‑performance, cloud‑native cybersecurity platform. This remote position offers the chance to lead end‑to‑end development of resilient microservices and to shape the technical direction of a critical product.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy scalable backend services on Google Cloud Platform.
• Lead features from concept through production, ensuring quality across the SDLC.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks at system and component levels.
• Collaborate with Product, Operations, and Platform Engineering teams.
• Integrate monitoring, alerting, and observability to improve reliability.
• Maintain engineering standards with automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and GitOps practices.
• Participate in architecture discussions, design reviews, and code reviews.
• Mentor engineers and promote continuous improvement.

Required profile

• 7+ years of backend or distributed systems development.
• 4+ years of hands‑on Go (Golang) experience.
• Strong expertise in microservices, REST APIs, and gRPC.
• Experience building cloud‑native applications on GCP (preferred).
• Proven ability to scale distributed systems in production.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
