Senior Android Developer (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Android Developer to join our remote team for a 6+ month engagement. You will own end‑to‑end delivery of complex mobile features, collaborate with designers and backend engineers, and help shape the technical direction of our Android product.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy high‑quality Android applications using Kotlin and Java.
• Lead technical design and own the full lifecycle of features from concept to release.
• Mentor and guide junior developers, conduct code reviews, and enforce best practices.
• Collaborate on API contracts, ensure proper documentation, and integrate RESTful services.
• Prototype new technologies, improve build pipelines, and contribute to cross‑team engineering initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 6+ years of professional Android development experience.
• Strong understanding of the Android framework and MVVM architecture.
• Experience working in Agile teams and delivering on tight deadlines.
• Ability to write clean, reusable code and provide comprehensive unit test coverage.
