Senior Accountant (US GAAP & Fixed Assets)

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Senior Accountant to manage key accounting operations, including month‑end close, fixed‑asset accounting, and financial reporting support. The role requires strong knowledge of US GAAP and advanced Excel capabilities, and will operate in a fast‑paced environment serving multiple entities across Latin America.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries for commissions, salaries, benefits, and other transactions.
• Support month‑end and year‑end close processes, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance.
• Maintain fixed‑asset records, schedules, and monthly depreciation calculations across multiple entities.
• Record asset additions, disposals, transfers, and adjustments, and reconcile sub‑ledgers to the general ledger.
• Review and approve balance‑sheet reconciliations, identify discrepancies, and support audit requests.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and proven experience with month‑end close and account reconciliations.
• Experience in fixed‑asset accounting and depreciation.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
