Senior Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to lead high‑complexity accounting processes within the Record‑to‑Report (R2R) function. The role acts as a subject‑matter expert, providing advanced judgment and supporting regional and global initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Perform and review complex account reconciliations and month‑end close activities.
• Prepare and review financial reporting packages for accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate audit activities, respond to auditor inquiries and ensure audit readiness.
• Coach and mentor junior and intermediate analysts.
• Lead workstreams for process improvement or transformation projects.
• Serve as deputy to the Team Leader during peak periods, such as month‑end and audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration, or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years of progressive experience in general accounting, including exposure to complex, high‑impact areas and audits.
• Experience in a shared services environment is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles.
• Effective communication skills in English and Spanish.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and influence stakeholders.

Required skills

• High proficiency with ERP systems.
• Advanced Excel skills.
