Selection Specialist – Talent Acquisition (Fixed‑Term)

About the role

IBM is looking for a Selection Specialist to join its Talent Acquisition team on a six‑month fixed‑term contract. You will partner with hiring managers and senior client search leads to source, screen, and deliver high‑quality, diverse talent for the company’s global hub locations.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and define search strategies.
• Leverage market expertise and online sourcing techniques to build a pipeline of qualified candidates.
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
• Identify target companies, professional groups, and associations to inform search parameters.
• Apply agile methodologies and data‑driven insights to improve hiring outcomes.
• Use KPIs and reporting to track performance and guide continuous improvement.
• Mentor junior team members and help generate candidate pipelines.

Required profile

• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• Minimum 1 year of end‑to‑end recruiting experience, handling high volumes.
• Experience recruiting for the Americas (Latin America, United States, Canada).
• Proven ability to build relationships with hiring managers and consult on talent needs.
• Strong analytical mindset, comfortable working with metrics and KPIs.
• Curiosity, growth mindset, and ability to adapt to change.
