Security Operations Analyst – Forensics and eDiscovery

About the role

You will support the firm’s legal, regulatory and risk management obligations by preserving, searching, collecting and preparing data for legal holds, investigations and regulatory inquiries. The position offers hands‑on experience with enterprise email and file searches, as well as structured training and mentorship.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct enterprise email and file searches and assist with legal hold and preservation activities.
• Prepare and organize data for review in platforms such as Exterro or secure repositories.
• Participate in case reviews, intake tracking, Jira ticketing and team syncs.
• Develop more complex scoping and search queries as experience grows.
• Build basic computer forensics, data workflow, lightweight automation and AI‑assisted analysis capabilities.
• Contribute to improvements in team processes, documentation and tooling.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in eDiscovery, legal hold, litigation support, investigations support or digital forensics.

Required skills

• Experience with Exterro.
• Proficiency in Jira for workflow management.
• Basic computer forensics techniques.
• Familiarity with AI‑assisted analysis and lightweight automation.
