Secondary Mathematics Teacher

About the role

The school is seeking a dedicated Secondary Mathematics Teacher to deliver high‑quality instruction in English. The successful candidate will foster logical thinking, critical reasoning, and problem‑solving skills while aligning lessons with the institution’s curriculum and international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and implement Mathematics lessons that follow the institutional and relevant international curriculum.
• Deliver all classes, assessments, instructional materials, and academic communication in English.
• Design active learning experiences that promote mathematical reasoning and practical application.
• Assess student progress using formative and summative tools and provide timely, evidence‑based feedback.
• Integrate educational technology to strengthen conceptual understanding.
• Participate actively in academic meetings, collaborative planning, and professional development activities.
• Maintain professional communication with parents in English (and Spanish if required).

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a related field.
• Knowledge of the International Baccalaureate (IB) Programme.
• Advanced or bilingual English proficiency (C1–C2 level, verifiable).
