SAP Finance & Controlling Consultant

About the role

We are seeking an experienced SAP Finance & Controlling Consultant to lead SAP FI/CO implementations, enhancements and support for our global finance operations. The successful candidate will translate business requirements into robust SAP solutions and ensure smooth financial closing processes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead SAP FI and CO implementation, upgrade and support projects, including S/4HANA migrations.
• Gather and analyse business requirements and design scalable SAP FICO solutions.
• Configure and maintain General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting, Cost Center, Profit Center, Internal Orders and Product Costing.
• Collaborate with functional, technical and business stakeholders to integrate SAP FICO with MM, SD, PP and other modules.
• Support month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end financial closing activities.
• Perform system, integration and user‑acceptance testing and prepare functional specifications for custom ABAP developments.
• Provide production support, troubleshoot issues and drive continuous process improvements.

Required profile

• 10+ years of hands‑on SAP FICO consulting experience.
• Proven expertise in SAP FI/CO configuration and support, preferably with S/4HANA Finance.
• Strong understanding of financial accounting, reporting and closing processes.
• Experience integrating SAP FICO with MM, SD, PP and other SAP modules.
• Ability to lead workshops, gather requirements and communicate with senior stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
