Sales Specialist – IT Solutions

About the role

The Sales Specialist will be responsible for achieving sales targets for a specific IT product or solution, supporting Account Managers and driving market penetration. You will act as a technology promoter, delivering presentations and influencing customer specifications before tenders are launched.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies for key accounts or territories, identifying long‑term growth opportunities.
• Conduct competitive analysis and define Hitachi Energy's Unique Value Proposition.
• Lead complex tender processes, coordinating multidisciplinary capture teams.
• Perform risk and profitability analysis on proposals.
• Work with factories to optimise technical and economic aspects of solutions.
• Negotiate contracts and close high‑level commercial discussions.
• Ensure compliance with trade, ethical, and internal policies.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical or Electromechanical Engineering.
• More than two years of experience in sales, account management, or related functions.
• Willingness to travel as required.
